Splash Pad:
The splash pad located at Sunset Park is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from May 1 through September 30.  Water features are activated on a timer with the push of the button.

SCC&TB is excited to share the August 2022 Community Pulse event sponsored by APS and recorded by Red Rock TV Channel 16!

This convening of community leaders from around the greater Sedona region will include representatives from the Sedona Chamber, ADOT, Tread lightly, Sedona Airport, and U.S. Forest Service.

Our goal is to provide a forum for sharing factual information related to how we are collaboratively working to address local issues to ensure the balance between a thriving tourism economy and visitor experience with environmental stewardship and quality of life for our residents.

The event is sponsored by Arizona Public Service (APS).

Verde Shuttle to Reinstate Full Service - August 23rd, 2022

COTTONWOOD, AZ – The Transit Department for the City of Cottonwood is excited to announce we are now fully staffed. The Verde Shuttle is set to reinstate full-service routes effective August 28, 2022, which includes the late-night buses. According to Transportation Manager Lisa Boring, “Verde Shuttle will return to operating just as it did before the cutbacks.”

Peak Days for the Verde Shuttle are considered Wednesday – Sunday and the buses will run approximately every 45 minutes from 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. Monday – Tuesday the buses will run every 90 minutes from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The regular fare for riding the Verde Shuttle Commuter from Cottonwood to Sedona is $2.00, while trips within Sedona are $1.00.

The Transit Department would like to thank all of our passengers for their patience during this time until we were able to get back to full service.

City of Sedona - November 30, 2021 -

City staff partners with Sedona Food Bank to help end hunger

SEDONA, Ariz. – The city of Sedona announces a partnership with the Sedona Food Bank to assist community hunger needs and help keep the Sedona Food Bank shelves stocked by hosting a food drive at City Hall between Monday, Nov. 29, 2021 and Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021. 

The public, along with city employees, are invited to donate non-perishable food items at three convenient donation Sedona Food Bank barrels located in the finance, community development and court lobbies at City Hall at 102 Roadrunner Dr.  

“We are thrilled to team up with the Sedona Food Bank to show our community how much we care about them,” said Brenda Tammarine, human resources manager for the city of Sedona.  

Desired food donations include non-expired items such as cereal, canned soup, peanut butter, brown rice, pasta, bottled and canned sauces, canned fruit and vegetables, broth and stock, and condiments.
